Fine Art by Allison Wickey
Allison's artwork captures the beauty of SoWal's coastal geography. Her expressions echo truth while her well-honed technique is layered. They capture nature's truth, and the outcome is powerful. After moving with her family in 2007, Allison began experimenting with her favorite mediums and quickly found her rhythm.

Allison's gallery features her own work as well as over a dozen other local artists. While her creations with the coastal lakes, beaches, and sea life put her on the map, she has been developing her abstract works in recent years. These pieces are created in a free style method, and admirers respond positively the emotion they evoke within.

Underwater Museum of Art
The Underwater Museum of Art is the nation's first permanent underwater sculpture garden. The Cultural Arts Alliance partnered with the South Walton Artificial Reef Association to create the attraction. It's located in the Gulf of Mexico off Grayton Beach in Walton County, FL about 0.7 miles out and 60 feet down. The idea was presented by Allison, who currently serves as the President of the Board of Directors of the Cultural Arts Alliance. Her concept, the Anamorphous Octopus, was chosen as one of the seven selected sculptures in the first call-to-artists for the UMA. Below is the concept drawing along with the finished product!
Deployment of all seven sculptures occurred on June 25, 2018. The Underwater Museum of Art is now open to divers and wildlife! For more information, visit the official site at umafl.org.
